EUROPEAN UNION  FRAME WORK

The main objective of the concept defined as EUROPEAN RESEARCH AREA-ERA is to provide economic and social improvement by strengthening the capacity of scientific research and technological development of the European Union, and this way to make Europe world's most dynamic and most competitive information economy in 2006.

At our university, studies in the scope of the 6th Frame Work is carried out intensively. With this aim a central coordinatorship has been constituted within the university. Coordinators for each and every faculty are appointed to work in coordination with this unit. In Foreign Relations Office information about 6th Frame Work, partnership data, new calls and activities are notified the university via e-mail. People who work at Foreign Relations Office attend conferences about the 6th Frame Work, Information Days, and ÇALIŞTAYLARA with the purpose of directing the study more systematically. Furthermore, within Gazi University, Information Days are held for the university lecturers and for those who are interested.
