NUTRITION, ACCOMODATION, HEALTH SERVICES

Gazi University gives importance to the health care. Our students, academic personnel and management staff can benefit from the services of MEDIKO without paying any fee. Mediko, with its urology & haematology labs, x-ray & ultrasound departments, units of emergency, psychological consultation, diet, and dental, is like a small hospital with its all equipment. In MEDİKO, there are  23 doctors, including 4 dentists, 2 paediatricians, 1 internist, 1 gynaecologist, 11 general practitioners , 1 psychiatrist, 1 dermatologist, 1 infarct ??*and1 radiology expert.

Our university's health service is not limited to MEDİKO. Gazi University has one of the biggest hospitals in Turkey. Gazi University Faculty of Medicine not only brings up well-qualified doctors but also gives quality health service to the people coming from different parts of Turkey. On the other hand, Gazi University Faculty of Medicine which is among the most estimable medical faculties of Turkey has K-Q, TSE, TSO, EN, 9000 Quality Certificates. Having such a well-equipped hospital is a great asset both for our students and personnel. Our university hospital provides free health service to its members, and medicine is
supplied by pharmacy which the students of Faculty of Pharmacy practise or by the pharmacy which G.U has agreement.

NUTRITION
Gazi University has many alternatives in terms of nutrition. Meals are prepared in our university's large dining rooms under the hygienic situations and under the control of our dietician.  As well as the quality of the food, the place where the food is serviced is also very important. Thus, there are many spacious and clean cafes where students both eat and have a chat with their friends. On the other hand, there are many restaurants and cafes which are reasonably priced and clean near the campus.

ACCOMODATION OPPORTUNITIES
Many of the government or special dorms are located in the Gazi University Campus neighbourhood (from central campus to Maltepe) such as Sabancı Girls Dorm, Gazi Dorm, Mehmet Akif Girls Dorm, Koç Students Dorm, etc. These dorms are varied in terms of price and the service they provide, so students from different economical levels can easily find a dorm for themselves.
On the other hand, that the central campus of Gazi University is near the public transportation station is a big advantage for our students in terms of accommodation.
