SCHOLARSHIP AND CREDIT OPPORTUNITIES

The living standard of the students is an important factor for the quality of the education. Thus, our university provides many scholarships to our students so as to improve the living standards of the students and to help them to solve their economic problems. These scholarships are given by MEDIKO (Health Culture and Sports Department).

Some of MEDIKO scholarships are granted by taking students' academic success and economic situations into consideration and others are given as a  return of students service at  Gazi University. Some volunteers work in the library, hospital and dining halls part-time, thus, they deserve to be paid. On the other hand, food and drinks at the university cafeterias are free of charge for students who have financial problems. In sum, nearly 2000 students are given scholarships every month and 4000 students also have the right of free-use of the university's dinning-halls.
